HOMELIFE CHRISTIAN FAMILY CHURCH exists to help mature the family of believers in Spirit, Soul and Body.

WE DESIRE to see every Right at Home in a relationship with Jesus as Savior, Lord and Friend!  It is our belief that if you don't have life with Him at home, you can't have life with Him anywhere else.  

We desire to help each person discover their God given place of purpose in this world!

Thom Passante has pursued the call of God on his life with a real passion even when it seemed to appear foolish. Thom has battled the many tests believing God and has been in ministry in one capacity or another for over twenty-five years. The Lord has molded and shaped the call over these many years and in Thom’s own words, “I am a graduate of the school of hard knocks and it appears I’m going after my doctorate.” Thom has been given a great gift, the ability to preach and teach God’s truth to people from diverse backgrounds and various ages. A capable minister, who desires to help address the needs and strength’s of the people he encounters.

In 1981, through the faithful and relentless prayers of his grand-mother, Thom accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. The Lord placed Thom in the urban East End section of Pittsburgh, where he began his real life training as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He found himself relating to young people from a variety of backgrounds, many who were the same age as Thom. Early on he began to realize that the Lord would consistently be placing him in new and very unfamiliar situations. That, through Thom’s weakness, God’s strength would be perfected.

In January 1984 while driving in an inner city neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Thom was engulfed with a glimpse of the vision. The vision is one that would impact people and families, regardless of color, income or culture; the purposed creation of an environment that truly embraces reconciliation, restitution, redemption, revitalization and rejoicing.

In 1991 while driving in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, the Lord gave Thom conformation of a geographical location for the vision.

In 1993, he began in full time ministry in the inner city east end section of Pittsburgh and later in some suburban settings as well.

Then, in 2002 a personal fulfillment came with the official ordination as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as the release to Pastor.

In 2006, Thom along with his wife Kim and their four children planted HOMELIFE CHRISTIAN FAMILY CHURCH in Murrysville, Pennsylvania.

In 2007, Thom again received his ordination with a network of ministries and Thom and his family stand committed to the Lord in the carrying out of His perfect plans. Pastor Thom believes that when God is directing the way, then good and purpose are sure to follow.


Our goal is to understand and take seriosly the role of pastoring and discipling which brings life out of death.
